Registrar's Office
Under King’s Data Governance Framework, the Registrar’s Office at King’s and Western is the designated data owner of all student and academic information housed in the University’s Student Information System. The University collects personal information under the authority of The University of Western Ontario Act, 1982, as amended. This information is directly related to, and necessary for, the University’s operations, including recruitment, admission, registration, academic progression, graduation, administration, and other activities related to its programs.

All personal information is protected under Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). As such, access to this information is privileged and granted only as necessary to support the University’s business functions.

For requests submitted to the Registrar’s Office, additional approvals may be required to ensure compliance with King’s Privacy Framework and FIPPA. If you have any questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office directly at Registrars.Office@kings.uwo.ca
